What is the Penile Enlargement / Penoplasty procedure?

Penile enlargement surgery is becoming a very popular and highly effective way to boost their self-esteem.

The Penile enlargement / Penoplasty procedures include two separate procedures:

- Lengthening of penile (also called extension penoplasty or phalloplasty or Penis Enlargement): The aim of the procedure is to enlarges the length of the penis, lengthening of penile.
The lengthening of penile is done by releasing the suspensory ligament which connects the penis to the pubic bone enabling the penis to become more visible but the improvement will be aesthetic rather than functional because it will not increase the length of penis in the erect state (only in the flaccid state).
In most of case the angle of erection will not change.

- Increase the Girth or circumference of the penile by fat by dermal fat grafting.
Fat is obtained through liposuction (from the abdomen area), then purified before being injected beneath the skin of the shaft of the penile.
The average increase in size of girth is of 30%. This procedure can be repeated if further girth enhancement is desired.

Both of these procedures are usually done performed at the same time.

Before the Penile Enlargement / Penoplasty procedure
The motivations and requests of the patient will be analysed during the preoperative consultation with the surgeon.
No medication containing aspirin should be taken within 10 days before surgery.
Stopping smoking is obligatory before surgery.

Anaesthesia for Penile Enlargement / Penoplasty procedure
Usually the procedure is done with a local anesthetic depth by tranquilizers administered intravenously.

How long does Penile Enlargement / Penoplasty procedure take?
The procedure takes between one to two hours to complete, depending upon whether one (Penile Enlargement) or both (Penile Enlargement + Girth Enhancement) are performed.

How visible will Penile Enlargement / Penoplasty scars be?
Patients will have a small scar on the lower abdomen after penile lengthening. For dermal fat grafting, scarring fade between one and three years depending on the type of graft and donor site but scars will be invisible because the pubic hair will cover them.
